Accessibility statement

GIBA aims to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA across both languages and both text directions. This statement reflects the current website, not a claim of full conformance.

Our commitment

Accessibility is treated as a core quality signal, not an afterthought. The site is built with semantic HTML, keyboard operability, visible focus, sufficient colour contrast, respect for reduced-motion preferences, and full right-to-left support for Arabic.

What we have done

  • Semantic landmarks, a logical heading order and a skip link on every page.
  • Keyboard-operable navigation, menus, accordions and dialogs with visible focus.
  • Form fields with labels, error identification and screen-reader announcements.
  • Colour is never the only way information is conveyed.
  • Automated accessibility checks (axe) run against every route in both locales.

Known limitations

Full manual assistive-technology testing (screen readers across both languages and RTL) is part of the launch gate and is not yet complete. We therefore do not yet claim full WCAG 2.2 AA conformance.
